On Monday, April 20th at 6:30pm the New York Landmarks Conservancy will host its 18th Annual Lucy G. Moses Preservation Awards. Among the recipients is the team behind the exterior restoration of Moynihan Station. The ceremony will take place at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, also one of the exceptional award winners. Named after distinguished philanthropist Lucy G. Moses, the coveted awards laud outstanding preservation efforts by individuals and projects.

The Minnesota Dance Theatre will present SACRE DU PRINTEMPS (Rite of Spring) and a world premiere by Twin Cities Choreographer Christine Maginnis in ODYSSEY running April 17-19 and 24-26, 2009 at The Lab Theater. Celebrating the choreography of founder Loyce Houlton, SACRE DU PRINTEMPS (Rite of Spring) was first performed by the MDT company in 1985. Stravinsky shocked and enraged Paris in 1913 with the provocative and exciting rhythmic invention of SACRE DU PRINTEMPS. Come experience the wild and daring combination of Stravinsky and Houlton, and feel the combustion of energy between the two.

Perry-Mansfield, the most legendary of all performing arts schools in the nation, will present a special one-night-only cabaret concert to benefit its scholarship fund, it was announced by Executive Director June Lindenmayer. 'The Art of Cabaret' scholarship fund benefit concert will be hosted by Andrea Marcovicci and Karen Mason, and will feature performances by Barry Kleinbort and Terri Ralston (Perry-Mansfield master teachers), and musical directors Christopher Denny, Shelly Markham, and David Gaines.
