A.D. Players, one of Houston's oldest and largest resident theater companies, has moved its troupe from the Grace Theater to its new 440-seat venue, the Jeannette and L.M. George Theater (George Theater). The Players completed its 39-year run at the 212-seat Grace Theater in December. To Kill a Mockingbird will be the first show performed at the new $18 million George Theater, just in time for the A.D. Players' 50th anniversary season. The American classic, dramatized by Christopher Sergel, runs February 12 - March 5, and is the first of six notable plays coming to the George Theater in 2017.
