Artistic Director Robert Falls announces five of eight play selections in Goodman Theatre's upcoming 2011/2012 subscription season-beginning with his production of the Tony Award-winning Broadway sensation Red, by John Logan, in September. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! is the first production at the Mead Center and features an all-star cast under the direction of Artistic Director Molly Smith. Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! runs October 22-December 26, 2010 in the Fichandler Stage.

Wilde is one of the best-known literary figures of the late Victorian period, yet many people don't realize how few theatrical works he left behind. In fact, the very social hypocrisies that he satirizes in Earnest contributed to the shortening of this famous wit's career.
