Performance dates for the world premiere of First Flight's Forgotten Soldiers From Our Forgotten War are today, November 10 at 7pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Harlem, 521 W 126th St, New York, NY 10027 (a benefit for the church) and Friday and Today, November 16 & 17 at 7pm at Our Savior's Atonement Lutheran Church in New York City's Washington Heights neighborhood, 178 Bennett Avenue, New York, NY 10040. Tickets are $15 and $10 for seniors and students.

Spike Dolomite Ward, Executive Director of Theatre West, announced the addition of Kiki Ebsen's theatrical tribute to her father, entertainer Buddy Ebsen, is set for three nights this fall, October 12-14, 2018. S.E. Feinberg will direct the touching tribute "TO DAD WITH LOVE: A TRIBUTE TO BUDDY EBSEN,"and is co-produced by Kiki Ebsen, her brother, Dustin Ebsen, and associate producer Linda L. Rand. Ward noted that Today's performance is a fund-raiser for nonprofit Theatre West, the internationally acclaimed oldest continually operating theatre company in Los Angeles. Author Services, Inc. and Galaxy Press will present the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Stories From The Golden Age, representing 80 books and audiobooks (2008-2018) of 153 short stories written in the genres of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Mystery, Westerns and Action Adventure. To date, 2.7 million copies of the books, with stories set in the 1930s and 1940s, have been sold.

Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (SDCF), the independent, not-for-profit affiliate of SDC, Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, today announced unique plans for its 2019 award evening, which will feature original choreographic pieces resulting from a special commissioning program, with the application period now open. SDCF also announced that Victoria Traube would receive a special 'Mr. Abbott' Award at the event, to be held March 25 at the French Institute Alliance Francaise (FIAF).

NJ Rep presents a celebration of the works of Edna Ferber including salon readings of 5 brand new one-act plays adapted from Ferber's short stories, a lecture on the story behind Show Boat told by Ferber's great niece and biographer, Julie Gilbert, and a concert reading of Selina Peake written by the Pulitzer prize winning playwright, Horton Foote, based on the Pulitzer prize winning novel, So Big. All presentations will be at West End Arts Center, 132 West End Avenue in Long Branch.

This year's honorees—conductorWilliam Christie, mezzo-soprano Fiorenza Cossotto, tenor Vittorio Grigolo, soprano Hei-Kyung Hong, and soprano Sonya Yoncheva — will be celebrated at a black-tie gala celebration on April 22nd, 2018 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. Renowned opera singer and recitalist Stephanie Blythe will be the special musical guest.
