Performances begin this Saturday for the Epic Theatre Center / United States Premiere of Einstein's Gift, a new play by Vern Thiessen, at the Acorn Theatre (410 West 42nd Street).

Why and how we love, what happens when the political becomes the personal and 'to be or not to be,' are just some of the themes explored in Heiner Mueller's stark, two-character drama HAMLETmachine, the inaugural production of the Blue Rose Theater Company, playing for six performance May 12 - 15 at The John Houseman Theater, 450 West 42nd Street.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) presents Kate Burton as 'Constance Middleton', Michael Cumpsty as 'John Middleton', John Dossett as 'Bernard Kersal' and Lynn Redgrave as 'Mrs. Culver' in the new Broadway production of W. Somerset Maugham social comedy The Constant Wife, directed by Mark Brokaw at the American Airlines Theatre (227 West 42nd Street).

PS Classics will record the cast album of the recent much-acclaimed production of Lone Star Love on March 2nd. Directed by Michael Bogdanov (Olivier Award-winner for The War of the Roses), LONE STAR LOVE is inspired by the play The Merry Wives of Windsor by William Shakespeare, conceived and adapted by John L. Haber, with music and lyrics by Jack Herrick, and contributions from Michael Bogdanov, Bland Simpson and Tommy Thompson. Randy Skinner (2001 Tony® nominee, 42nd Street) is choreographer. Discussions are underway for a commercial transfer.

At a packed after-party at Tony's DiNapoli Times Square Restaurant, 42nd Street stars old and new dined, dished and said goodbye.

For the week ending January 2nd, Roundabout Theatre Company's Twelve Angry Men grossed $408,192.63 at Broadway's American Airlines Theatre. The previous high for the Roundabout's American Airlines Theatre was during The Women, the week ending December 30th, 2001 which grossed $364,342.00.
