Equus - 2008 - Broadway History , Info & More

Equus, written by Peter Shaffer, the Tony Award author of Amadeus, is the powerful and provocative story of a stable boy and a psychiatrist who seek to understand the sexual and religious mystery which leads to a climactic and unbelievable event. Daniel Radcliffe, the young international star of the popular Harry Potter films, plays the stable boy. Richard Griffiths, who plays the psychiatrist, was last seen on Broadway in The History Boys for which he won a Tony Award.

Daniel Radcliffe to Auction Off Jeans from EQUUS for BC/EFA

At three consecutive Saturday matinees starting November 22nd, the cast of EQUUS on Broadway will auction off the Lucky Brand jeans worn in the play by its young star Daniel Radcliffe as part of the company's campaign to raise money for the annual Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS fall fundraising drive.
