Rubicon Theatre Company (RTC) opens the company's 2017-2018 20th Anniversary Season with a provocative and gripping drama based on the story of German conductor and composer Wilhelm Furtw ngler, who remained in Germany after Hitler's rise to power and was later accused of being a Nazi sympathizer.

Walnut Street Theatre's 2017-2018 Independence Studio on 3 season continues with the holiday classic, IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE: A LIVE RADIO PLAY. Directed by Jesse Bernstein, the production begins with previews on October 31st, opens November 2nd and continues through December 17th.

A witty two-hander from The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time playwright Simon Stephens, Heisenberg is a sharp and inspiring opener for The Rep's 2017-2018 Studio season. Directed by Steven Woolf, the production runs October 25 November 12 in the Emerson Studio Theatre.

Producing Artistic Director Carolyn Griffin is pleased to announce that the play Are You Now or Have You Ever Been , a play written and conceived by Carlyle Brown and directed by MetroStage Artistic Associate Thomas W. American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today the final four productions that will comprise the lineup of the company's 2017-18 subscription season. A VERSION, with previews beginning April 21, prior to the official press opening on April 25 at The Theater at St. Clement's (423 W. 46 St.) in New York City. HAMLET. A VERSION is directed by Irina Gachechiladze. The production features original music by Georgian composer Giya Kancheli.
