California Musical Theatre announced the 2015-16 Broadway Sacramento season at the Community Center Theater, featuring six shows not previously presented on the series, two of which were produced in the round at Music Circus but never before part of Broadway Sacramento.

After two years ruminatin in the imagination and in the writing, Artistic Director Dale Gutzman in collaboration with John Angelos adapted the classic Homer legacy in their production of ODYSSEY : A Warrior's Journey Home for Milwaukee audiences. The city's downtown, very intimate Off the Wall Theatre (OTWT), conjures magic from Gutzman and his actors, stage technicians and assistant directors who become heroic in their own right almost every production with merely four men: Gutzman, David Roper, Lawrence j. Lukasavage, and Jeremy C. Welter, and for this production, an additional Patrick McCann.

Four productions still remain in Geva Theatre Center's 42nd Season: A Body of Water, Lee Blessing's play of memory and identity; The Mountaintop, a reimagining of Martin Luther King's last night on earth; the world premiere of Cass Morgan's journey to discover her roots - The Road to Where; and the season's grand finale, the laugh-out-loud comedy Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike. The 2014-2015 Season continued Geva's innovative efforts to connect patrons and artists and art with the community. The 2015-2016 Season will continue to build on that and also usher in a new era as Geva's historic home begins to undergo renovation and transformation.

Opera Colorado announced today that it will present Giacomo Puccini's Madama Butterfly(November 2014), W.A. Mozart's The Magic Flute (May 2015), Giuseppe Verdi's Aida (November 2015), and the world premiere of Lori Laitman's The Scarlet Letter (May 2016) starring Elizabeth Futral as Hester Prynne. A vital presence in Denver's cultural ecology, Opera Colorado is the Rocky Mountain region's preeminent grand opera company. The Opera's programming includes mainstage productions, artist development initiatives, and education and community engagement programming.

Author Joseph F. Dumond Elucidates the Sabbatical Years

In 2008, Joseph E. Dumond created a DVD explaining the Sabbatical years and the curses for not keeping them. In 2009, he wrote The Prophecies of Abraham which shows the prophetic messages in the lives of Abraham, Noah, Joseph and Jacob in the context of the Jubilee cycle. These two projects made him aware of how little people knew about the Holy Times according to the Bible. In his incisive new book, Remembering The Sabbatical Years of 2016, he elucidates the essential aspects of the Sabbatical years and when and how they fit into prophecy.
