Zachary James, Broadway actor and Opera singer recently founded the new NYC experimental opera company, Metropolis Opera Project. He recently appeared in Lincoln Center?s South Pacific as an original cast member, and in 2010, will be playing Lurch in The Addams Family.

Variety is reporting that stage and screen actress Kathy Bates will star in football drama 'The Blind Side' opposite Sandra Bullock with John Lee Hancock directing from his own script. Warner Bros.-based Alcon Entertainment is financing and producing reports the trade paper. Gil Netter's producing along with Alcon co-toppers Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove while Molly Smith, Erwin Stoff and Tim Bourne will exec produce.
