Grammy and Emmy Award winner, Tony Award nominee and multi-platinum recording artist Harry Connick, Jr. will star in a reimagined production of ON A CLEAR DAY YOU CAN SEE FOREVER opening fall 2011 on Broadway at a theatre to be announced. The delightful Tony Award nominated score by Burton Lane (music) and Alan Jay Lerner (lyrics) is enhanced by classics from their film scores for On A Clear Day You Can See Forever (1970) and Royal Wedding (1951). With a new book by Peter Parnell based on the original book by Alan Jay Lerner, the musical is reconceived and directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer. Further casting and creative team to be announced shortly.

Kirstie Alley Says 'I Really Want to do Broadway'

Last night it was announced that Kirstie Alley is set to compete each week on the dance floor in 'Dancing with the Stars', which premieres on Monday, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. In doing press for the show, she's revealed that her real dream is to be in a Broadway musical. She tells the New York Post 'I really want to do Broadway. I have sort of always wanted to be a song-and-dance man. I love musicals. I really want to be the lead in a Broadway musical. So I really need to have stamina.'

Comedy superstar and actor Dane Cook will make his Broadway debut this spring in the first Broadway production of Neil LaBute's FAT PIG at a theatre TBD. Cook will be joined by stage, film, and television actor Josh Hamilton (The Coast of Utopia, Away We Go). LaBute will make his Broadway directorial debut with the play, which he also directed in 2008 in the play's acclaimed London premiere, receiving an Olivier Award nomination for Best New Comedy.
