The Tony Awards Administration Committee met on April 27 for the fourth and final time this season to decide the eligibility of Broadway productions for the American Theatre Wing's 2018 Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Committee met regularly throughout the 2017-2018 Broadway season to make eligibility determinations.

Greatest Showman Singer Loren Allred Comes to PSO Gala 2018

Loren Allred, the singing voice behind Rebecca Ferguson's portrayal of the legendary Jenny Lind in the hit movie The Greatest Showman, lent a taste of Hollywood and impressive vocals to the Princeton Symphony Orchestra's "Puttin' on the Glitz" Red Carpet Gala held Saturday at Jasna Polana. Nearly 200 elegantly dressed attendees generously contributed to funds raised for the orchestra and its PSO BRAVO! education programs, particularly to continue the PSO's commitment to bringing the orchestra into the Trenton Public Schools.

New spellers have been added to Broadway Bound Kids' third annual Broadway Bee on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 7 PM at Le Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street). The comedic spelling bee, Broadway Bee, features actors from hit Broadway shows competing in a hilarious live event, while raising funds to provide a wide range of performing arts education opportunities for NYC youth. Producers Carmen Pavlovic (Global Creatures) and Roy Furman have announced first principal casting for the new musical King Kong. Christiani Pitts, currently starring in A Bronx Tale on Broadway, will star as Ann Darrow, and Eric William Morris, who played Sky in Mamma Mia!, will play Carl Denham.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2018 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award.
