The Pasadena Playhouse (Artistic Director Sheldon Epps) presents the World premiere of WATERFALL, an epic new Broadway bound musical love story, starring Emily Padgett (Broadway: Side Show, Rock of Ages), Thom Sesma (Broadway: The Times They are A-Changin', Man of La Mancha), J. Elaine Marcos (Broadway: Annie, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert), and Thai superstar Bie Sukrit and featuring a distinguished international creative team and a cast of 20.  

The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts honored Paula Wagner of Mount Laurel, New Jersey as its one-millionth patron this season with a special presentation during the matinee performance of Disney's The Lion King on Thursday, June 11.

Tim Minchin, the internationally celebrated composer and comedian behind the music and lyrics of the sensational Broadway hit Matilda The Musical, will join 5th Avenue audiences for the next Spotlight Night, The 5th Avenue's behind-the-curtains look at upcoming productions. Hosted by Executive Producer and Artistic Director David Armstrong, this Spotlight Night will preview the theater's upcoming summer shows: the ever popular Grease, the final show of the 2014/15, season and Matilda The Musical, the smash hit that opens the 2015/16 season.

The company of Broadway's The Visit gathered in the studio on April 27th to record the musical's original cast album. The Visit is the final musical ever written by legendary Oscar Award, Grammy Award and Tony Award-winning composer John Kander and his writing partner lyricist Fred Ebb, before Mr. Ebb passed away. Produced by the Emmy Award-winning and Grammy nominated producer Michael Croiter (Matilda, Big Fish, Heathers), The Visit album will be released June 26th, 2015. Kids Week 2015 announces line-up of more than 40 top London shows offering free tickets & activities for children and families this August

The award-winning crowd-pleaser MATILDA THE MUSICAL has been announced as the seventh title in the 2015-2016 Bushnell Broadway Series season. MATILDA will play The Bushnell April 26 - May 1, 2016. Other titles in the Series are THE ILLUSIONISTS, a mind-blowing showcase of magic and illusion; family friendly smash hits Disney's NEWSIES and Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA; LOVE LETTERS, starring Ali MacGraw and Ryan O'Neal; and crowd-pleasing sensations MOTOWN THE MUSICAL and DIRTY DANCING. The 2015-2016 Bushnell Broadway Series is co-sponsored by Farmington Bank and Travelers.

STARS IN THE ALLEY, presented by United Airlines, will take place today, May 27th from 10:30am-12:30pm in Shubert Alley, between Broadway and 8th Avenue and 44th and 45th Streets.
