This weekend, the Cornelia Street Cafe will host the Anders Bergcrantz Quintet, The Heavy Metal Duo, and Tanya Kalmanovitch, Ted Reichman, and Anthony Coleman. The first show is Friday night at 9pm.

Producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman announced the complete Broadway cast of AMERICAN IDIOT today. The production will begin previews on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 and open on Broadway Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44 Street).

Certainly that's what I've been doing lately, looking back over the past year in Nashville theatre as I pencil in dates in my new 2010 (Here's a question to ponder: Is it 'two thousand ten' or 'twenty ten'...think about it and get back to me) calendar for the shows set to open in the months ahead.

City Hall Restaurant and MJS LIVE, Inc. announce 'A Brand New Year Me!', A New Year's Eve celebration with Tony & Emmy Award Winner Lillias White at the exciting new 'old time' venue The Granite Room - ‘Neath the Sidewalks of New York. This special New Years Eve celebration is scheduled for two shows at 8:30 PM and 11:30 PM. Accompanying Ms. White is the masterful pianist Miles Dalto.
