The Broadway League announced today the recipients of its fourteenth annual National Education Grants. These grants support innovative programs that enable students from coast to coast to experience touring Broadway as a form of artistic expression and as an educational tool.

Court Theatre continues its 55th season with Charles Ludlam's The Mystery of Irma Vep directed by Sean Graney. The production will run November 12 - December 13, 2009 at Court Theatre, 5535 S. Ellis Avenue. The press opening is Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 8:00 p.m.

Roger Michell will direct Patrick Hamilton's classic thriller Rope running from 10 December 2009 - 6 February 2010, with press night on 16 December. SAN DIEGO REPERTORY THEATRE will presents THE SEAFARER, the comic-drama that has become a holiday hit on American stages across the country since its Broadway debut in 2007.
