Composer Stephen Sondheim will receive the 54th Edward MacDowell Medal, it was revealed today. Awarded by The MacDowell Colony, one of the nation's leading artist residency programs, The MacDowell Medal has been awarded annually to an individual artist who has made an outstanding contribution to his or her field.

The full cast for the London revival of A Chorus Line has now been confirmed.

According to the Daily Mail, after an open audition, Alice Jane Murray of Kent has been cast as 'Lois', and Marc Leslie will play the role of 'Roy' in the London Palladium production of A Chorus Line. Casting is now complete and rehearsals have begun to prepare for the show's February 19th opening.

After eighty-six years, the Grand Theatre - home of The Road Company Theater Group, Inc. since 1976 - fell silent on May 14, 2010 when its roof collapsed, destroying the entire venue. This was a devastating tragedy for theater-goers throughout the Delaware Valley and it hit Southern New Jersey with significant impact. Now, after over two-and-a-half years of tireless hard work, fundraising, advocating, and numerous meetings with architects and contractors, the Grand has been rebuilt.
