The musical premiered at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, in London on 20 September 1989, closing after over four thousand performances, on 30 October 1999.The musical represented Schonberg and Boublil's second major success, following Les Miserables in 1985.

Virginia's Signature Theatre is happy to announce that the run of Miss Saigon is extended throughSeptember 29 due to popular demand - an addition of eight performances.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Daniels has committed to bringing the long-stalled Janis Joplin biopic to the big screen - with Amy Adams playing the bluesy rock legend. He also revealed he's also planning a film adaptation of the much-loved Boublil-Schonberg musical MISS SAIGON.
