The family Christmas classic, Charles Dickens' A CHRISTMAS CAROL, runs November 20-December 13, 2015 in the Young Theatre on Cal State Fullerton's campus. The adaptation is inspired by the 1951 film version, adapted by Department of Theatre and Dance Chair Bruce Goodrich and directed by Jeremy Lewis.

Completing a trilogy of revelatory Ibsens, Richard Eyre returns to the Almeida Theatre with a new version of LITTLE EYOLF. Jolyon Coy (Alfred) and Lydia Leonard (Rita) lead a cast, which includes Sam Hazeldine (Borgheim), Eve Ponsonby (Asta) and Eileen Walsh (Ratwoman). Three years after their critically acclaimed debut 'Pictures of You', creative powerhouse duo Chris Braide and Geoff Downes come together again for the second chapter of their joint venture the Downes Braide Association - DBA in short. The album, entitled Suburban Ghosts, will be released on 6th November through Cherry Red Records.

Celebrated Washington stage actor Edward Gero returns for the seventh year to play Ebenezer Scrooge in the production The Washington Post hailed as "musically high-spirited" and "infectiously jolly."

e award-winning Actors' Conservatory Theatre (ACT-San Diego, www.actsandiego.com) presents an adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with a 31 member youth and young adult cast. The production is Directed by Bernard Baldan, with Musical Direction by Desha Crownover and Choreography by Erin Petersen. Performances will be held at the Lyceum Theatre, 79 Horton Plaza, San Diego, 92101 from December 11 through December 20, 2015.

San Francisco Opera announces cast updates for The Fall of the House of Usher double bill which receives its United States premiere December 8–13, 2015. Tenor Jason Bridges makes his Company debut as Edgar Allan Poe in Gordon Getty's Usher House; Bridges created the role in the 2014 world stage premiere at Welsh National Opera conducted by Lawrence Foster.

Starring Broadway's Jason Graae (last seen at 42nd Street Moon in Little Me) in the title role, SCROOGE IN LOVE! follows Ebenezer Scrooge one year after his life changed for the better, although he still feels something is missing. Directed by Dyan McBride, SCROOGE IN LOVE! will run November 25-December 13, 2015 (Press opening: Saturday, November 28) at the Eureka Theatre, 215 Jackson Street, San Francisco. Just in time for Halloween, Barrel of Monkeys takes a spooky turn this season with THAT'S WEIRD GRANDMA: Stories That Go Bump in the Night, featuring dark and delightful tales of witches, ghosts, haunted houses, magical beings and much more -- cooked up by Chicago Public School students and adapted for the stage and performed by Barrel of Monkeys Company Members. South Street Headhouse District (SSHD) presents a new fall festival with tricks and treats for adults and children of all ages. PumpkinFest takes over Second Street's Headhouse Plaza between Pine and South Streets, on Saturday, October 31, 2015, from 12:00pm to 5:00pm. Live music, shopping, seasonal bites and brews, football bungee challenge, straw bale maze, circus performances, horse and wagon hay rides, face painting and more. Wiesenthal, the critically acclaimed Off-Broadway production based on the life of Simon Wiesenthal, kicks off The Wallis' 2015-16 theater season in the Lovelace Studio Theater.  This provocative solo performance is written and performed by Tom Dugan and directed by Jenny Sullivan. Beginning Fri, Oct 23, Wiesenthal will run for 17performances only.  Opening night is Sat, Oct 24 at 8pm.
