Geva Theatre Center presents Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird as part of the 2015-2016 ESL Wilson Stage Series. To Kill a Mockingbird is adapted by Christopher Sergel and directed by Mark Cuddy, with original music by Gregg Coffin. The production begins previews on February 16, opens on February 20 and runs in the Elaine P. Wilson Stage until March 20.

Today in 1960, Camelot opened at the Majestic Theatre, where it ran for 873 performances. Camelot is a musical by Alan Jay Lerner (book and lyrics) and Frederick Loewe (music). It is based on the King Arthur legend as adapted from the T. H. White tetralogy novel The Once and Future King. The original 1960 production, directed by Moss Hart and orchestrated by Robert Russell Bennett and Philip J. Lang, won four Tony Awards and spawned several revivals, foreign productions and a 1967 film version.

YALE SCHOOL OF DRAMA has established two new scholarships with a $100,000 gift from The Frederick Loewe Foundation: the Frederick Loewe Musical Theatre Scholarship, which will be awarded to a playwriting student who demonstrates particular interest in musical theatre composition; and the Frederick Loewe Directing Scholarship in honor of Floria V. Lasky.
