Pittsburgh CLO is proud to announce the cast and creative team for the return of Forever Plaid, which runs October 8, 2009, through March 28, 2010, at the CLO Cabaret. Celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Cabaret in style with the musical comedy hit that opened the theater in 2004.

'All Fall Down', directed by Lonny Price ('A Class Act') and Matt Cowart (Assistant Director, '110 in the Shade'), opens this Friday, October 9th at the 45th Street Theatre. This new musical, which stars two-time Tony Award nominee ('42nd Street', 'On the Town') and Drama Desk nominee ('Xanadu') Mary Testa along with Jenn Colella ('Urban Cowboy'), Charlie Pollock ('9 to 5', 'Urinetown') and Casey Predovic, has already sold out select performances.

Today Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced the creative team for its world premiere of American Idiot. Based on the Grammy Award-winning album of the same name, the show features the music of Green Day and the lyrics of its frontman Billie Joe Armstrong. American Idiot is being staged by Tony Award-winning director Michael Mayer, who also collaborated with Armstrong on the story. It features the work of Olivier Award-winning choreographer Steven Hoggett and music supervisor Tom Kitt, the Tony-winning composer who provided string arrangements for the band's latest album, 21st Century Breakdown.
