Head Over Heels is a jubilant musical comedy that injects a modern twist on a classic story. Adapted from the 16th-century prose romance "The Countess of Pembroke's Arcadia" by Sir Philip Sidney, the musical throws in a generous helping of 1980s pop hits by the iconic all-female band The Go-Go's. This creates a unique mashup of Elizabethan themes with infectious pop melodies. The plot revolves around the royal family of Arcadia, facing a prophecy that threatens their kingdom's very existence. The solution? Embark on a wild journey to rediscover their lost "Beat," the source of their prosperity. Expect mistaken identities, gender-bending revelations, and a whole lot of self-discovery, all wrapped up in a hilarious and heartwarming package.
