X-MAS: A MERRY MUTANT HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR Takes Seattle By Storm
Christian Duhamel, recipient of the 2018 Kleban Award for most promising musical librettist, debuts a new musical at The Pocket Theater December 7-10.
X-MAS: A Merry Mutant Holiday Spectacular is a new musical parody with Music by Christian Duhamel and Book & Lyrics by Sarah A. Mucek.
It's X-MAS...which means your favorite super-powered mutants are wrapping presents, saving the world, and SINGING! A musical holiday spectacular that answers the questions: "How do you surprise a telepath?", "What do you do under the mistletoe if you'd kill someone by kissing them?", and "What do you give your arch-nemesis when he unexpectedly attacks you for the holidays?"
Produced by Charissa Bertels, in partnership with Teresa & Gerald Duhamel and Christopher Marcacci, X-MAS is directed by Brandon Ivie (Broadway: A Christmas Story, First Date) and music directed by RJ Tancioco. Mark Rabe serves as associate music director and James Pingenot provides percussion for the production.
The cast features Robert Berliner, Charissa Bertels (Broadway: A Christmas Story, If/Then National Tour), Iris Elton, Allen Fitzpatrick (Broadway: Driving Miss Daisy, Les Misérables), Alexandria J. Henderson, Justin Huertas, Jason Kappus (Broadway: American Idiot, Jersey Boys National Tour), James Padilla, and Jennifer Wingerter.
Tickets are $14 and are available at the door. More information is available at www.thepocket.org.
