Wing-It's THE IRISH WAKE Returns 3/5 Thru 3/20

By:

Wing-It Productions is proud to present the return of its rowdy, hilarious and touching tribute to Ireland with The Irish Wake.

The Irish Wake begins with the arrival of the Deceased, who watches the arrival of his family and friends to his wake. As the mourners reflect, fights break out, songs are sung and bottles are broken. Wake goers are unapologetic, hard drinking, complete Irish stereotypes. The Irish Wake is completely unscripted, with suggestions from the audience providing the plot.

The Irish Wake is created and directed by Improv veteran Kyle Kizzier, who brings 18 years of experience to the show. Kyle served as a performer and director for Chicago's ComedySportz before moving to Seattle in 1997, when he began his work as a performer, director and instructor for Jet City Improv.

The cast of The Irish Wake includes: Jeremy Brown, Mike Christensen, Lauren Domino, Kate Jaeger, Steven Lange, Mike Murphy, Lindsay Newman, and David Rollison with guest mourners.

The Irish Wake performances are at 8pm March 5, 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20 at the Historic University Theater at 5510 University Way NE. Tickets are $10 (GA) and $9 for students and seniors.

For more information on The Irish Wake, or to purchase tickets visit www.wingitpresents.com.

Wing-It will host an Opening Night Show and Gala Thursday March 5th. Champagne and Cake will follow the show, with an opportunity to speak with the cast and crew, as well as members of Wing-It Productions.

There will be a special performance for St. Patrick's Day on Saturday March 14th at 8pm.

The Irish Wake is brought to you by Wing-It Productions, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization dedicated to enlightening, educating and entertaining audiences of all ages by producing theatrical events which explore theater by utilizing its improvisational roots.
