Village Theatre will host Tony Award-winner Levi Kreis for a special concert event on August 23, 2017 at the Everett Performing Arts Center. The performance will feature an evening of intimate piano, vocals, and southern storytelling. From the Smokey Mountains to Times Square, Kreis tells of his unconventional road to stardom through humor and song. Delivering a fresh, authentic take on your Broadway favorites, like Pippin, Beautiful, and (of course) Million Dollar Quartet, you will feel like you are hearing these songs for the first time.

Kreis, who is best known to Village Theatre audiences for his performance as Jerry Lee Lewis in Million Dollar Quartet, went on to originate the same role on Broadway. The role won him the 2010 Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical, a 2010 Outer Critics Circle Award, and a 2010 Drama League nomination. Kreis recalls, "I've always been a meaning maker. I see art as an opportunity to convey something deeper, something spiritual. When you touch an audience at this level, they remember it forever." Other notable stage credits include the Tony nominated revival of Violet, Smokey Joe's Cafe, and the national tour of Rent.

Tickets for this special performance can be purchased at www.villagetheatre.org/everett/levi-kreis.php or by calling the box office at (425) 257-8600.
