Vox Fabuli Puppets and Kendra & Michael Hayes are excited to announce the addition of tales from Seattle playwright Kelleen Conway Blanchard to the Stories for Bad Children line-up, at West of Lenin (203 N. 36th Street, Seattle) on November 15, 16 & 17 at 8pm.

Kelleen Conway Blanchard’s work has been seen/produced at Annex, 12 Minutes Max and 14/48, Spin the Bottle and as part of FringeACT. Outside of Seattle, her plays have been part of Eight Tens at Eight in Santa Cruz, the 2nd Annual Festival of New Short Plays in Belfast, Maine and Perishable Theatre’s Women’s Playwriting Festival.

A cabaret-style show celebrating the naughty boys and girls of the fairy tale world, Stories for Bad Children will be different each evening according to the whims of fate and our emcees, improv artists Super Mega Art Show.

The evening will also feature twisted Hansel and Gretel variations from Vox Fabuli Puppets, bellydance that goes bump in the night from Kendra Hayes, musical lessons in immoral morality from Rick Miller, the dark ritualistic grace of Mer Sedna, surprises, special guests and more!

The evening is not intended for actual children, but for patrons aged 15 and up. Tickets are $15 and available at sfbc.brownpapertickets.com.
