Tacoma Musical Playhouse to Present LEGALLY BLONDE, April 2013

By: Apr. 02, 2013

Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law!

Inspired by the popular MGM film, Tacoma Musical Playhouse brings to the stage Legally Blonde as only TMP can! This high-energy musical promises to be great fun for audiences, and filled with fantastic music and thrilling dances. Leah Wickstrom, whom you may remember as "Kira" in last season's production of Xanadu at TMP, returns as the perfect "Elle Woods." This feel-good musical proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style.

Legally Blonde runs for only 14 performances every weekend in April 2013. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, and Sundays at 2pm, with extra Saturday matinee performances at 2pm on April 20th and 27th.

Performances take place at Tacoma Musical Playhouse, 7116 6th Avenue in Tacoma. All seating for TMP Mainstage and TCMT productions is reserved. TMP's Legally Blonde is a very popular production and many of these performances - especially matinees - will sell out in advance. Advanced purchase is strongly recommended.

Ticket prices are $29 for adults; $27 for seniors, students and military; $20 for children 12 and under; and a $20 Student Rush price is available for all opening weekend performances. Group Rates are available for groups of 10 or more. Due to mature content, parental guidance is suggested for those considering bringing children to this show.

For tickets or more information, visit www.tmp.org or call the TMP Box Office at 253-565-6867.
