THE GRIMALDIS Haunt Seattle in Audience Immersion Theatrical Party, Beg. Tonight

An audience-immersion party/theatre event, reminiscent of the famous "Tony and Tina's Wedding," but with ghosts, "The Grimaldis: A Musical Ghost Story" by Dane Ballard Productions, will be presented Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at Hale's Palladium tonight, May 16-25.

The audience will become more than just spectators, acting as guests at a haunted party, nibbling horsd'oeuvres and mingling with ghosts who perform around them, singing, performing magic, aerial acts, comedy, dance and more. "Like the celebrated "Tony and Tina's Wedding," "The Grimaldis" is an audienceimmersion show that will be more fun to watch than the average theatre production. The performances happens all around you and you are part of this spectacle." said Dane Ballard, writer and producer of the event.

"Audiences will interact with the performers and engage with all five senses, to help them to feel like they are right in the middle of a show that has come to life." "Theatre Amuse-Bouche" means "theatre that entertains the mouth," and usually applies to gastronomic experiences, but in this case, it's the act of tasting delicious hors d'oeuvres as a part of the audience's interaction with the performance. The appetizers will be created by Hale's, and served by the characters as if each audience member is at a party with this eccentric family of performing ghosts.

"The Grimaldis may be dead, but the show (and the party) must go on," Ballard said.

"The Grimaldis" is written and produced by Dane Ballard and the show's original music and lyrics were composed by veteran composer John Woods.
