Stone Soup Theatre Holds 2009-10 Season General Auditions 6/22 And 6/23

Seattle’s only one-act theatre company will be holding general auditions Monday June 22nd & Tuesday June 23rd 6:00-10:00 pm. Auditions are by appointment only.

Actors should prepare one 2 minute contemporary monologue.

Many roles from the following shows will be cast:

October - Five one-acts by Christopher Durang including The Actors Nightmare directed by Maureen Hawkins, 10/29-11/22, 2009.

December - A Childs Christmas In Wales By Dylan Thomas, Dec 2009

February - Fool For Love By Sam Shepard Directed by Allen Fitzpatrick, 2/11-3/7, 2010

March - 10TH Anniversary Edition of The Vagina Monologues (Casting diverse ethnicities). Directed By Tyrone Brown, 3/25-4/18, 2010.

May - Outside the Box Original, One-Act Playwrights Festival, May 2010.

The auditions will be held at the DownStage Theatre, 4029 Stone WAY N, Seattle, WA  98103

All actors are paid a stipend.

Stone Soup Theatre is Seattle’s only one-act theatre plus company dedicated to the preservation of the one-act play. We present five professionally mounted productions per year, youth and adult conservatory training, summer camps, and after school programs.  Stone Soup is a part of the 4Culture Touring Arts Roster with a Greek Myth Assembly Tour.
