Staged Reading Of HOOKMAN Presented By Albatross Theatre Lab

Albatross Theatre Lab announces the first play in its Spring Reading Series, Hookman by Lauren Yee. This one-night free play reading will take place on Sunday, February 10 at 7pm in The Auditorium at the UHeights Center in the University District neighborhood of Seattle. Hookman will be directed by Annika Bennett; cast to be announced.

Freshman year at college is hard when your roommate is weird, you're feeling homesick, and a hook-handed serial killer is slashing girls' throats. But if Lexi can discover what really happened to her high school best friend the night of that car ride, everything will be okay. In this existential slasher comedy, Lexi and her friends learn what it means to grow up-and it's not pretty. (Content warning: sexual assault.)

Hookman is presented by special arrangement with SAMUEL FRENCH, INC.

The Auditorium at UHeights (University Heights Center): 5031 University Way NE, Seattle, WA 98105. A wheelchair lift is available at the SW entrance (off Brooklyn Ave) with a max capacity of 350 lbs. Call UHeights staff for assistance at 206.235.8567.

TICKETS: Free Admission; no tickets or RSVP required. First come, first served seating.
