Silver Sounds Performs In Burien

SilverSounds Northwest puts their best foot forward to celebrate The Time of Your Life at 2 pm on Sunday April 15, 2018 at the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien. This mixed chorus is made up of 50+ singers who are mostly of retired age. With a live rock band, period costumes and kickin' choreography, SilverSounds Northwest belts out favorites like Monday, Monday, Nine to Five, and As Time Goes By while proving that they are never too old to rock n' roll.
Families hunting for affordable entertainment will delight and parents looking for a risk-free way to introduce their children to the joys of choral music can rest easy because Northwest Associated Arts youth ticket program lets young people 17 and under in free with a paid adult ticket.
SilverSounds Northwest is a Burien-based chorus of more than 50 men and women. Most members are of retired-age and they have developed a loyal and growing following with family-friendly shows that offer much more than the usual "choral concert." SilverSounds Northwest was founded in 2011 and is part of Northwest Associated Arts, which includes ChoralSounds Northwest KidSounds Northwest, YouthSounds Northwest, and TeenSounds Northwest.
