Thanks to the exceptionally positive response to Seattle Public Theater's 2012-13 season opener, Tracy Letts' urban comedy-drama Superior Donuts, SPT will be adding a matinee performance, Saturday, October 20th at 2pm. The show must close Sunday, October 21st.

The mean streets of Chicago show us their brighter side when Arthur, a world-weary draft evader and disillusioned donut shop proprietor, hires Franco, a streetwise would-be novelist. But their unlikely bond of one-part snark and three-parts hope is put to a violent test when Franco's past catches up to him.

Superior Donuts features the acting talents of Alexander Samuels, Jená Cane, TRoy Allen Johnson, Sally Brady, Kevin McKeon, Charles Norris, Gordon Carpenter, Zach Sanders, and Daniel Wood.

And the design talents of Craig Wollam (Scenic Design), Tim Wratten (Lighting), Jay Weinland (Sound), K.D. Shill (Costumes), Cole Hornaday (Props), Geoffrey Alm (Fight Choreography) and Original Music Composition by Shaymlusly Elliterate

SUPERIOR DONUTS final weekend performances run October 18-21, 2012. Tickets may be purchased by phone at (206) 524-1300 or online at www.seattlepublictheater.org.
