Seattle Playwrights Salon presents BUREAUCRAZY by Kate Danley

Seattle Playwrights Salon presents a staged reading of Bureaucrazy by Kate Danley on Friday September 8th at 7 p.m. at the Conservatory, 5813 Airport Way South, Seattle 98108. Admission is free! Beer, wine, cider, and food available for purchase before and after the show, and during intermission.

Grace and Amy are two secretaries working a soul sucking job in a soul sucking office. Surrounded by unappreciative bosses and co-workers who wear too much patchouli, the highlight of their day is when they can steal leftovers from boardroom business lunches.

But when their boss chokes on an oatmeal raisin cookie and they fail to discover her until an awkward amount of time has passed, they are determined to hide the body and carry on like nothing has happened.

Bureaucrazy is about the million little deaths people die every day... and also the big one.

The Conservatory is a Seattle art space and coffeehouse, community meeting place, and artists' workshop in Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood, a growing and glowing arts haven in Seattle near I-5, just north of Boeing Field. The Seattle Playwrights Salon produces new play readings and full productions on the second Friday of every month at The Conservatory to give local playwrights a public place to present new work in development to a live audience.
