Premier Performing Arts Training Offered Through KIDSTAGE

By:

Village Theatre KIDSTAGE is now registering for its winter class line-up of exploratory acting, fundamental acting, and musical theatre classes for students of all ages (PreK-age 20).

Give your young ones something fun and stimulating to do after school. KIDSTAGE in Issaquah offers a variety of Early Acting classes for students PreK-2nd grade that provide literature based exploratory classes that encourage confidence by building theatre and life skills in a fun and supportive environment. This winter's Early Acting classes are themed around Giggle Giggle Quack, Magic School Bus Adventures, and Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.

For those students in the 1st to 5th grade range, Fundamental Acting and musical theatre classes are offered. These classes focus on process as opposed to end result and include developmentally appropriate curriculum with exercises and activities that teach terminology and theatre skills. These classes have a variety of themes including but not limited to Hogwarts, Horcruxes, and Hallows and Shrek, The Musical.

A wide variety of Intermediate Acting and Musical Theatre and Advanced Musical Theatre classes are offered to students from 4th grade to age 20. These classes build on to the individual student's previous development in the areas of singing, dancing, and acting for musical theatre. This winter, KIDSTAGE is offering Saturday Morning Dance classes as well as classes themed around auditioning and callbacks. Check the Village Theatre KIDSTAGE website for a complete class listing.
