Photo Flash: First Look at Seattle Shakespeare's THE TAMING OF THE SHREW

By: Apr. 22, 2013
THE TAMING OF THE SHREW by William Shakespeare, directed by Aimée Bruneau will open April 26 at The Playhouse at Seattle Center (formerly Intiman), 201 Mercer Street, Seattle, Washington. The production closes Sunday, May 12, 2013. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

In this indoor revival of our popular outdoor Wooden O trailer park "Shrew!" Brought up in a rough and forgotten corner of backwoods America, the tempestuous and sharp-tongued Kate bows down to no man. But then Petruchio swaggers into town with a plan to steal Kate's guarded heart. Through bickering and brawling, their comic courtship is a no-holds-barrEd Battle of the sexes that results in a love and understanding that neither one imagined.

The show runs Wednesday-Fridays 7:30 PM, Saturdays 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM, and Sundays 2:00 PM & 7:30 PM. For tickets, call (206) 733-8222 or visit www.seattleshakespeare.org for tickets and information.
