Phoenix Theatre & Snohomish Theater Project Stages Annual GILLIGAN'S ISLAND Parody, Now thru 7/28

Snohomish Theater Project and The Phoenix Theatre will be presenting the third annual Gilligan's Island parody in the Park-ing lot. Join the castaways Friday and Saturday today, July 19, 20, 26 and 27 at 7:30 and Sunday July 21 and 28 at 2:00 PM at the Phoenix Theater, 9673 Firdale, Edmonds.

Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids under 10. No reservations needed! And for one weekend only Friday and Saturday August 2 and 3 at 7:00 and Sunday August 3 at 2:00 PM the show will be at the Park-ing lot of the Carnegie Library 105 Cedar in Snohomish.

This year's episodes include Beauty is as Beauty does, considered one of the top five. Gilligan suggests a beauty contest to crown Miss Castaways. This ignites the competitive streak in them with each man championing a beauty! That leaves Gilligan the single deciding vote. Gilligan of course finds a way to make peace and bring the community back to normalcy. The second episode has been lost and rarely seen. The mainland has been overrun by Zombies and the castaways maybe the lone outpost of civilization. How should they spend their last possible hours? A zombie washes onto shore and wrecks havoc only to be outsmarted by Gilligan!
