Ovation! Musical Theatre Bainbridge will host an evening of great food and great fun with its second Saturday Night Safari - Singers Gone Wild! Saturday, March 20th, 2010 at 7:30 PM at the Bainbridge Commons.

"We invite the community to join us as we celebrate seven years of producing great shows and have some fun while raising funds for our growing organization," said Tom Burt, President of Ovation!'s Board of Directors and Emcee of the event. The ticket price includes admission, entertainment, hors d'oeuvres from Bainbridge Island's Spice Route restaurant, a dessert auction, complimentary champagne, cash bar and more. "Safari attire is optional," Burt added.

A highlight of the event will be an auction emphasizing special experiences and rare music industry memorabilia. "We've collected some amazing memorabilia and opportunities - we have several rare platinum record commemorative plaques featuring Michael Jackson (Thriller), Sting and Cyndi Lauper, said Laura Harrison, event chairwoman. "We also have a chance to drive a rare Tesla car, tickets to see the hit band Muse and meet the band, a week at a vacation cottage in Palm Springs, passes to Seattle Opera closed dress rehearsals with tours and introductions, and much more," she added.

"We wanted to treat the community to a fun night out and raise funds for Ovation! at the same time," said Corinna Lapid-Munter, Ovation!'s Music Director. "We held the same event in 2008 and it was a blast - people have been asking when we're doing it again so here we go!" she added. Ovation! is transforming The Commons into a safari night club, complete with piano bar and karaoke.

Tickets are $50 and are available at Winslow Drug on Bainbridge Island and on Ovation!'s website at www.ovationmtb.com or by phone at 206-842-0472. Tickets will also be available at the door. For more information, call Ovation! at 206-842-0472 or email info@ovationmtb.com.
