For the first time SilverSounds Northwest presents two matinees for their upcoming What's in a Name Spring concert. At 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday April 6 and 7, 2019, this mixed chorus of retired seniors will rock the Highline Performing Arts Center in Burien. Known for their cleverly themed performances that often include narration, acting, fun costumes and dance; this concert will feature such hits as ABBA's Fernando, Jim Croce's Bad Bad LeRoy Brown, Chuck Berry's Johnny B. Goode and Wake up Little Susie by the Everly Brothers.

Families hunting for affordable entertainment will delight and parents looking for a risk-free way to introduce their children to the joys of choral music can rest easy because Northwest Associated Arts youth ticket program lets young people 17 and under in free with a paid adult ticket.

SilverSounds Northwest is a Burien-based chorus of more than 50 men and women. Most members are of retired-age and they have developed a loyal and growing following with family-friendly shows that offer much more than the usual "choral concert." SilverSounds Northwest was founded in 2011 and is part of Northwest Associated Arts, which includes ChoralSounds Northwest and YouthSounds Northwest.
