Lineup Announced For The 22nd Annual More Music @ The Moore, Featuring Seattle's Rising Young Musicians

Seattle Theatre Group has announced the lineup and music director for the 22nd Annual More Music @ The Moore, the program that provides exceptional young local musicians ages 14-21, regardless of what style they play, the opportunity to make music together. Returning as music director for the second year in a row is Grammy Award-winning producer, songwriter, and musician Mike Elizondo. Elizondo, who has produced songs for Eminem, Carrie Underwood, Fiona Apple, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and more, will collaborate with nine musical groups, spanning from individual artists to bands, culminating in a live performance on Friday, March 24, 2023, at 7:30 PM at the Moore Theatre.

This year's musicians are R&B artist Maya Michelle, hip hop artist Tazz Enrico, neo-soul gospel drummer Ollie DeShae Gaines, soul and blues artist Zhara Elan, disco pop duo Cherry Ferrari, traditional Mongolian performer and composer Anu Batbaatar, instrumental experimental funk group MIDPAK, grunge/alternative band Alex Vile, and singer-songwriter Keira Hamalian. Bios for participating artists are at the end of this release.

"I am thrilled to be back as Music Director for this year's More Music @ The Moore," said Mike Elizondo. "I am so inspired by the level of young talent in the Seattle community and I hope to continue to pass on advice and encouragement to this year's participants."

Tickets, which start at $10 (not including fees), are on sale now and can be purchased online at www.stgpresents.org or in person at the Paramount Theatre Box Office at 911 Pine Street in Downtown Seattle. This is an all-ages event and seating is general admission.

For 22 years More Music @ The Moore has celebrated the rich talent of youth in the Seattle community.

Participating young musicians learn through group collaborations, mentorships from music industry professionals, as well as opportunities for production and promotional support.
