"The Children's Hour" is a serious adult play about two women who run a school for girls. After a malicious youngster starts a rumor about the two women, the rumor soon turns to scandal. As the young girl comes to understand the power she wields, she sticks by her story, which precipitates tragedy for the women. It is later discovered that the gossip was pure invention, but it is too late. Irreparable damage has been done.

Performances begin May 14 and run through May 31, 2015. Show times will be as follows: Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm, Thursday May 14 at 7:30pm, Saturday May 23 at 2:00pm, and Sunday May 31 at 7:30pm. All performances will be at The Ballard Underground, 4240 NW Market Street, Seattle. General admission tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door, with tickets available for purchase in early February. For tickets and more information, visit http://arouet.us.
