Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series Presents VALLEY OF THE DOLLS

By: Jan. 22, 2018

Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series Presents VALLEY OF THE DOLLS Image

In 1999, Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series began with a one-night-only "Ridiculously Staged Reading" the iconic screenplay VALLEY of the DOLLS. Over the past 19 years, The Brown Derby Series has taken its place as a Seattle comedy institution with a dedicated cult following. Under-rehearsed and equipped with cardboard props and plenty of silly string, Director Ian Bell continues to team up with Seattle's funniest actors to put their warped spin on classic Hollywood screenplays.

Now, to kick-off it's 20th YEAR OF SHOWS, Ian Bell's Brown Derby Series revisits the 1967 camp masterpiece, VALLEY of the DOLLS! The script will get a new edit, current Brown Derby favorites will play the roles, and 20 years of low-brow comedy experience will be hastily scribbled into the margins of each page. But, just like Neely O'Hara herself, a few wigs from the original show of yesteryear will make a comeback (and they'll probably reek like Neely did, too). Join us as we don negligees and "climb Mt. Everest to reach the Valley of the Dolls"! DON'T MISS THIS ONE!
