KEXP & Seattle Center Concerts at the Mural returns in August with four nights of live concerts featuring some of the region's best indie music, along with some noted national artists, free-of-charge, starting at 5:30 p.m., Fridays, Aug. 2 - 23, at Mural Amphitheatre at Seattle Center.

Now in its 6th year, the Friday evening concerts continue the KEXP and Seattle Center tradition of starting the summer weekends off with a blast of engaging, all-ages culture.

KEXP and Seattle Center share a commitment to innovative and culturally diverse programming. The outdoors concert series offers a blend of musical styles for Seattle Center neighbors, downtown workers, music lovers and families. Seattle Center contributes the concert space, sound, lighting, and technical and event expertise. KEXP provides the "music that matters."

Seating for Concerts at the Mural is on a first-come basis. Folding chairs and blankets are allowed. Large coolers/ice chest, umbrellas, pets, video, and audio recorders are not allowed. A beer garden begins at 5 p.m. for people 21 years of age and older with a valid ID, and fresh foods will be available on-site. In addition, Seattle Center Armory food merchants will be open for food and drink.

Support for KEXP & Seattle Center Concerts at the Mural is provided by Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, Vulcan, Inc.- A Paul G. Allen Company, Whole Foods, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Clif Bar, Hotel Max, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, 4Culture, and the City of Seattle.
