Critically Acclaimed Comedy Troupe Returns for Grand Finale THE HABIT - THE FINAL CUT

By:

How time flies when you're making fun. The comedy troupe that first performed together in 1996 at the University of Washington will now return to the banks of Greenlake to present one last show; The Habit - The Final Cut.

The Habit will take the top sketches from the last 20 years and weave them together in their trademark breakneck style which the Seattle Weekly said is "like sprinting downhill, the keenest fun is the sheer tumble of it - how rapidly the comedic constellations form, collapse, and reform. There's seldom a nanosecond to ponder what just happened before hurtling off to some new realm of the ridiculous." Or to put it more succinctly The Stranger called The Habit's unique brand of sketch comedy "Really f*cking funny."

The Habit - The Final Cut will bring all of the far flung boys back to their hometown of Seattle as The Habit intends to go out with a bang. This final collection will be the penultimate performance - taking audience favorites and layering them with new jokes, popular bits, and clever twists. Peter Pan will try to explain to the police why he sprinkles magic powder on children, vending machines will taunt humans, lumberjacks will refuse to accept new uniforms, and the Founding Fathers will discuss how the 2nd Amendment probably doesn't really need any clarification.

Presented by Marxiano Productions (Seattle Vice, Bohemia, The Habit, Twister Beach, Modern Luv, Soft Rock Spectacular) and performed at the Bathhouse Theatre on Greenlake, The Habit - The Final Cut runs November 11 - 26.
