"Bump Up The lights!" For An Evening Of Laughter And Reflection With Carol Burnett, 9/27

Legendary comedic, dramatic and musical entertainer Carol Burnett is set to take part in: Laughter and Reflection with Carol Burnett: A Conversation with Carol where the audience asks the questions on Sept. 27, 7:30 p.m. at the Marion Oliver McCaw Hall at Seattle Center.

If there is one thing this renowned entertainer can do better than anyone else, it's talk at length, impromptu, before a live audience. Laughter and Reflection, Burnett's "off-the-cuff" banter with the audience, is a format that grew out of the question-and-answer sessions she shared with her studio audience on each episode of The Carol Burnett Show.

Since her 11-year run on this critically acclaimed variety program, she has moved easily from television to the stage to feature films, variety specials, music and comedy. Burnett has guest-starred on smash hit television shows such as Mad About You, Desperate Housewives, and Law & Order:  Special Victims Unit, and she will next co-star with Michael Keaton in this summer's upcoming Fox Searchlight Pictures feature, Post Grad.

Burnett is a six-time Emmy Award winner and has been recognized with more People's Choice Awards than any other woman in the award show's history. She has also been honored with a Peabody Award for Friendly Fire and the Ace Award for Between Friends with ElizaBeth Taylor.  In 2003 she received the Kennedy Center Honors and in 2005, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
