Someone left the gate open on the asylum again as the not-quite-right-in-the-head boys of The Habit are back with their next round of outside the box sketch comedy with "The Habit 13" at The Bathhouse Theater. And really, what better way can you start off the holiday season than a visit with some crazy people you're not related to before you're stuck with the ones you are?

John Osebold, Jeff Schell, Mark Siano, David Swidler, Luke Thayer and Ryan Dobosh get back to what's best about sketch comedy and put their own surreal spin on it. How many of us often wondered about the dysfunctions of the Superfriends? What exactly do bomb diffusing robots think while they're sent off to work? And just where should you look when dealing with the baddest cop in town? These and many other questions will be answered in the latest installment of the insanity that is The Habit.

But beyond the general hijinks and lighting fast pace these boys have down, they also manage a kind telepathic synchronicity to their timing. Even when there was a slight technical gaff on stage they managed to turn that into a bit and keep the funny going. And it's that tight hive mindedness of the group that makes them such a joy to watch. That and, of course, the WTF nature of some of their sketches as they don't always think the way the rest of us humans do and that's the fun.

I can't say too much more as I don't want to give away all the gags but if you're looking for a little fun or escape from your family this holiday season then this is the perfect option. It's probably a little too racy to bring the whole family to but for those adults in the mood for some fun with some crazy boys in jumpsuits then this is the show for you. No messages or high drama to have to dwell on during your drive home (although I am still a little worried for Aquaman), just some high (and sometimes low) comedy. The Habit will certainly make your funny bone stand at attention.

"The Habit 13" performs at The Bathhouse Theater through December 1st. For tickets or information visit them online at www.thehabitcomedy.com.
