Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA) presents Doktor Kaboom! LIVE WIRE! The Electricity Tour for one night only on Thursday, August 28 at 7:00 p.m. Seattle's own, Doktor Kaboom, is creating a brand new show to premier at the Kennedy Center this fall. Join us for this exclusive preview performance!

Science comedian, Doktor Kaboom, travels the world performing interactive one-man shows designed to make audiences laugh hysterically, and truly learn. This newest show, co-commissioned by the Kennedy Center, is focused on the wonders of electricity, and is geared towards the entire family. Audiences of KING5's New Day Northwest, will know that Doktor K's approach to science education is not just for kids. He believes that science is for everyone, so the show must be, as well. Everyone in the family is guaranteed to have a great time, even (especially?) the adults. Siblings, parents, grandparents all have a blast laughing together, learning, and cheering whenever he is on stage - making it clear why Broadway World calls him, "a force to be reckoned with... a complete delight!"

The creation of Actor/Comedian David Epley, Doktor Kaboom! creatively blends theatre arts with the wonders of scientific exploration. Doktor Kaboom! keeps his crowds riveted with interest and rolling with laughter. Don't miss his last test-run of the show one night only at Bainbridge Performing Arts!

David Epley has been fortunate enough to discover two passions in his life. Science, his first, took him to studies at the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. His second, performing, became his career, and for 20 years David has made his living writing, performing, and directing original interactive comedy across the US and Canada. He now brings his passions together with an explosive style that refuses to allow his audiences time to catch a breath.
