Amanda Knox Will Bring Stand-Up Show CARTWHEEL to Edinburgh Fringe
The production, will discuss Knox's conviction for the murder of her roommate, British student Meredith Kercher.
Amanda Knox, a woman who was wrongly convicted of murder in 2007, will bring a stand-up comedy performance to Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Times reports. The production, which is receiving backlash for being offensive, will discuss her conviction for the murder of her roommate, British student Meredith Kercher.
The show is set to come to the Gilded Balloon Teviot in August, and will be called "Cartwheel", which refers to the action Knox was doing at the police station where she was being questioned about the murder.
Knox was convicted of the murder of Kercher in 2009 and was sentenced to 26 years in prison. In 2011, the conviction was overturned and Knox was released, and she returned to America.
Since her release, Knox has published two memoirs, hosted podcast, and executive-produced a TV drama about her story. She began her stand-up career in 2025.
No further details have been revealed about Cartwheel at this time.
