Thank You For Being A Friend is a unique blend of stories and games in which actors improvise two half-hour episodes of an original sitcom which the audience will help create! Complete with improvised commercials and theme song, Thank You For Being A Friend captures the essence of televisions most beloved genre. As television plummets down to the extent where most is reality TV and less that a third of all new Sitcoms make it to its tenth episode, FST Improv promises to take you back to a time and place where "Everyone knows your name". That's what we're talking about Willis!

About the Theatre
Florida Studio Theatre (FST) is Sarasota’s contemporary theatre. Founded in 1973, FST has grown to a village of five theatres located in the heart of Downtown, Sarasota. Each theatre is small in size and large in impact — providing intimate and engaging settings for high-quality, professional performances.
