The Capitol Theatre Announces The Texas Tenors on 3/11With their second PBS Special RISE set to air across the country and albums topping the Billboard charts, The Texas Tenors have announced tour dates, which includes a stop at the Capitol Theatre on Sunday, March 11 at 7:30 pm. Since their whirlwind debut six years ago on NBC's America's Got Talent, The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards (including three Emmy Awards), accolades and excited fans. They have performed more than 1,000 concerts around the world, including a 24-city tour in the United Kingdom, Shanghai, China and collaborations with some of the most prestigious symphonies in the U.S. People are clearly enjoying their talent as they were recently named the #10 Classical Artist in the world according to Billboard magazine.

The Capitol Theatre, located in downtown Clearwater's Cleveland District, was constructed in 1921 and is one of Florida's oldest operating theaters. In 2015, the Capitol Theatre was named the #5 venue in the world by industry trade publication Venues Today and the #29 club venue in the world by industry trade publication Pollstar. In 2013, the theater underwent a complete renovation and is the catalyst for downtown development.
