The Capitol Theatre Announces Free Screenings Of Four Cult Classic Films

The Capitol Theatre just announced that they will host free screenings of four cult classics, The Big Lebowski, Dr. Strangelove, The Fifth Element and Pulp Fiction, this September. Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase. Please see below for more details and a complete list of dates and times.

Saturday, September 2 at 7 pm
The Big Lebowski
"The Dude" Lebowski (Jeff Bridges), mistaken for a millionaire Lebowski, seeks restitution for his ruined rug and enlists his bowling buddies to help get it.

Friday, September 15 at 7 pm
Dr. Strangelove
An insane general (Peter Sellers) triggers a path to nuclear holocaust that a war room full of politicians and generals frantically try to stop.

Friday, September 22 at 7 pm
The Fifth Element
In the colorful future, a cab driver (Bruce Willis) unwittingly becomes the central figure in the search for a legendary cosmic weapon to keep Evil and Mr Zorg at bay.

Saturday, September 23 at 7 pm
Pulp Fiction
The lives of two mob hit men (John Travolta & Samuel L. Jackson), a boxer (Bruce Willis), a gangster's wife and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption.

General admission tickets will be available at the Capitol Theatre box office located at 405 Cleveland Street in downtown Clearwater. The Capitol Theatre box office opens one hour prior to movie time. General admission seating will be available on a first come, first serve basis. There is a limit of four tickets per person, subject to availability.
