More about Jeffrey Weissman and Kimbell Jackson of Petaluma:
Jeffrey Weissman and Kimbell Jackson met in 1972 while performing Children's Theater, where they had a brief romantic relationship.

Jeffrey and Kimbell reunited in 1995, marrying after settling in Sonoma County and have since been supporting each others' endeavors. Kim has worked in the wine trade in Sonoma County for Chateau St Jean, Chateau Souverain, Joseph Phelps and Freestone Vineyards. Jeffrey continues to work as a screen and stage actor, comedian and educator.

In October 2008, Kim was forced to retire due to chronic migraine headaches. In October 2010, an MRI revealed lesions in her brain. A biopsy in January 2011 proved a diagnosis of central nervous system lymphoma. Kim has been on a steady chemo therapy since, and has made good progress. Her doctors give Kim a 70% chance of remission. Her medications can cost $6000.00 for 10 pills, and although she has some medical coverage, she faces a high co-payments, cost of living expenses. Once she is healed she will need rehabilitation in order to return to the work force.
