Produer, Carolyn Peterson has created a series of lectures by women titled "The Indomitable Spirit: Stories of Courage, Strength and Survival," where interesting and inspirational women share their stories of survival, (Cancer, poverty, domestic violence, addiction, child abuse, etc.)

They are proud to announce that Alison Arngrim is joining the elite line-up, with "More Than Just Surviving!," this Saturday night at "The Girl Cave" in Huntington Beach (16897 Beach Blvd., Huntington Beach, CA 92647).

Fans worldwide remember Alison as that hateful Nellie Oleson, the acid-tongued hellcat for several years on TV's hit series Little House on the Prairie. If you thought she was out spoken on the prairie, Ms. Arngrim pulls no punch's as she shares her honest and powerful story of childhood sexual abuse and how she turned her life around through her activism and her work with PROTECT.ORG.

Despite the fact that millions of people are living with the trauma of childhood sexual abuse, its still often treated as a nasty secret, which only makes it difficult for survivors to get help and makes it easier for predators to find their next victim.

Alison addresses this difficult issue with compassion, insight, anecdotes and a healing sense of humor. If you live in the Huntington Beach area, Los Angeles, San Diego - you won't want to miss this very special evening."

Tickets are $30 in advance and $35 at the door and are be available at:
